This SOP guides team members on how to enable QR Code payment functionality for specific merchants on CodePay terminals. By completing contract configuration, parameter input, and enabling device-side methods, merchants will be able to accept Alipay and WeChat Pay via scan-to-pay and present-to-pay QR code transactions.
Key Steps
1. Locate the target merchant and access contract configuration

- In the CodePay backend, find the Merchant that requires QR Code payment enablement.
- Navigate to the merchant’s Contract page.
- Create a C-Com payment channel for the merchant.
- Select the payment methods:
- Verify that the selected channels align with the merchant’s requirements before proceeding.
2. Input base parameters from Citcon and submit

- Obtain the required parameters from Citcon.
- Enter the Merchant Specific Token in the contract configuration.
- Verify accuracy, then click Submit.
- Confirm that the contract has been successfully created.
3. Add additional parameters and activate the contract

- Continue entering other required parameters provided by Citcon.
- For example, input the CodePay Store Code.
- Click OK to save.
- Check the contract status and confirm it is now Active.
4. Enable QR-related methods in the Register Pay App

- Open the configuration page in the Register Pay App.
- Enable the following methods:
- After confirming both are enabled, click Update to save the configuration.
5. Push configuration and wait for device synchronization

- Push the updated configuration to all target devices.
- Ensure all devices are connected to the network.
- Once online, configurations will automatically sync and take effect.
- Finally, verify that QR Code payments are functioning correctly on the terminals.
Cautionary Notes
- Parameters such as Merchant Specific Token and Store Code must be sourced from the correct systems to avoid input errors.
- Do not test terminal functionality until the contract status is Active.
- Confirm the target device scope before pushing configurations to avoid affecting unintended machines.
- Devices must be online for configurations to take effect; offline devices will not update immediately.
Tips for Efficiency
- Prepare all required parameters in advance to minimize switching between systems.
- Follow this sequence:Create contract → Enter parameters → Activate contract → Enable app methods → Push configuration
- After setup, test on one device first before rolling out to all devices.
